The official U.S. poverty rate reached its lowest recorded level in 2025.
Census reported a 10.2% official poverty rate for 2025, below the earlier 10.5% record in 2019, in a series beginning in 1959. This supports the rate claim; the supplemental measure was 13.1% and not statistically different from 2024. The data alone do not assign the decline to a president.

Census reported real median household income of $87,460 in 2025, the highest since the series began in 1967. Trump's colloquial 'on average' wording is imprecise: $87,460 is the median, not the arithmetic mean. The bounded income figure and record are supported.
