The White House named all nine companies and reported that the expanded set comprises 26 manufacturers covering 89% of the branded drug market. Associated Press, Reuters and Axios independently documented the nine new agreements and their Medicaid and future-launch commitments. Trump's rounded description of 90% is supported for the branded-drug market; it should not be read as 90% of every prescription, payer or retail transaction.
